Whatnot seller fees explained (2026): what you keep per sale
Short answer: in most categories, Whatnot takes an 8% commission on the item price plus 2.9% + $0.30 payment processing on the full order. On a typical sale that is about 10% to 11% of what the buyer pays.

Costs sellers forget
- Free or discounted shipping comes out of your earnings.
- Giveaways carry no fee, but you still pay the item and the shipping.
- Auctions that sell low: a $1 start can end at $1, and the $0.30 fixed fee is a big share of a small sale.
