Next steps
- Starting from scratch? The AI Listing Generator writes a new listing from your item details.
- Check your profit before you price: Etsy fee calculator, eBay fee calculator, Poshmark fee calculator, Mercari fee calculator.
How the listing grader works
- Paste the title, description and tags from a listing, and pick the platform.
- Quick check (free, in your browser): fixed rules check character limits, tag counts, repeated words, ALL CAPS, filler words, keyword stuffing, contact details, and whether brand, size, condition, measurements, material and color are there.
- AI grade: the AI reads the listing like a buyer, scores it, lists the top fixes, and rewrites the title, description and tags using only the facts you gave.
- Copy the rewrite, fill in any [placeholders], and paste it back into your listing.
What the score means
- Title (25%): uses the space well, leads with brand and item type, no repeats, caps or filler.
- Keywords and tags (15%): all tag slots used, no duplicates, phrases buyers actually search.
- Description (15%): long enough to answer questions, easy to scan on a phone.
- Item specifics (20%): brand, condition, size, measurements, material and color.
- Buyer trust (10%): condition and flaws, shipping time, policies, friendly tone.
- Platform rules (15%): within limits, no contact info or outside payments, no counterfeit wording.
90 and up is excellent, 75 to 89 good, 60 to 74 fair, under 60 needs work.
FAQ
How is the listing score calculated?
Six parts add up to 100: title (25%), keywords and tags (15%), description (15%), item specifics such as brand, size, condition, measurements and material (20%), buyer trust (10%) and platform rules (15%). The quick check scores everything with fixed rules in your browser. The AI grade adds a second opinion on everything except platform rules, which always come from the fixed checks.
Will the AI make up details about my item?
It is told to use only what you pasted. When something is missing, such as the size or material, the rewrite leaves a placeholder in square brackets like [add size] instead of guessing. The tool also flags any number in the rewrite that was not in your listing. Always read the rewrite before you post it.
Is the listing grader free?
The quick check is free and unlimited. You also get 3 AI grades per month in each browser. The Starter plan ($12 a month or $120 a year) gives unlimited AI grades, and Pro includes everything in Starter.
Which character limits does it check?
Etsy: 140 character titles and 13 tags of up to 20 characters. eBay: 80 character titles. Poshmark: 80 character titles, 1,500 character descriptions and 3 style tags. Mercari: 80 character titles, 1,000 character descriptions and 3 hashtags. Depop: 1,000 character descriptions and 5 hashtags. TikTok Shop: titles of 25 to 255 characters. Platforms change these, so the listing form on the platform is the final word.
Is my listing text stored?
The quick check runs in your browser and sends nothing. For an AI grade, the text is sent to our server and on to the AI provider to create the grade. FeeMath does not save or log the listing text; the server only keeps anonymous daily counters for rate limits.
Disclaimer: the score is an estimate of listing quality, not a promise of more views or sales. Search ranking also depends on photos, price, shipping, reviews and each platform's own systems. Limits were checked in October 2026 and can change. FeeMath is not affiliated with Etsy, eBay, Poshmark, Mercari, Depop or TikTok. Questions: support@sellerfeecalcnow.com.
